Collections

The McKay Library maintains a well-balanced collection of traditional materials plus an extensive array of electronic resources. These include:

  • About 200,000 printed books.
  • More than 330,000 electronic books.
  • Nearly 100,000 electronic journals.
  • 325 online databases.
  • Almost 10,000 videos and DVDs.
  • Thousands of other items, such as maps, music CDs, and documents on microfilm.

The Teachers Library Center holds our collection of children’s literature, K-12 school textbooks and teaching materials for education majors.

Special Collections houses rare books, manuscripts and archives, photographs, and other unique and valuable materials.
