The Pitts SpecialThis tiny silver model of the Pitts Special is on loan from Lana Hepworth of BYU-Idaho.In 1970, a manufacturing operation known as Pitts Aerobatics was started in Afton, Wyoming. The first Pitts Special S-2A was produced in Afton in 1971. The Pitts Special is one of the world's most popular aerobatic and sport aircraft. |
